What I'm Missin....

Hey all,

So I am here now almost 3 months, the time has flown in, I cant believe I only have 9 months left to go, (listen to me, I sound like I'm doing time lol). Well as you can image I have settled in and unfortunately so has the home sickness, I mean not too bad, just some small things, so I thought I would make a list of things that you guys back home take for granted. So here goes:

(* p.s of course I miss my family and friends but that's a given, here are the thing i miss also)

- A Bin (not trash can)
- Mock the Week
- British TV in general with no stupid adverts
- Honey Chili Chicken with half and half
- CHIPS!!! - (stupid country only serve fries)
- Back Bacon (only streaky over here)
- Wispa Bars (I hear the Wispa Gold is back... *sobs*)
- Going to mine and Kellys secret place at Uni
- Big long interesting conversations with Tayto
- Fightin with Colly about the stupidest things
- Adrian (*hehe)
- Lie Ins
- Sunday Roast
- Gravy Chips
- My bed
- My dog
- My kick ass entertainment system for my bedroom, TV, Playstation, Surround Sound Speaker System
- Pedestrian Crossings (very few lights over here)
- Being called a Felllya from Eddie
- Frames with Kenny
- Meat and Fish dept (well sorta)
- DRIVING!!!
- Money - the small silver coin is a 5pence, not a 10pence and vise versa.. GOD DAMN AMERICANS!!!
- Drinking Legally
- My flat in Belfast (lol ok not really)
- The empty streets (SF is riddled with homeless people)
- Ignorance of shop assistants/drivers/family/friends (everyone is toooo nice over here)
- Running around the back Roads
- Kerrrang
- Watchin Tayto enjoy his waffles
- Listening to Tayto's indepth talks about the current economic situation and methods of combating the current dimise of the world (wahh? nothin to do with me lawd)
- Tayto in General lol
- Listening to my Granda get on lol
- Andrea complaining - "too many men lol"
- Chillin in Tesco's Carpark with Ken
- The Rain
- Decent cooked meals
- Being able to go into a shopping center or shopping market i.e.- Tesco's/Sainsburys and being able to buy anything and everything I will ever need instead of having to go to 3 different stores for food!!!
- Take That
- My mobile phone (not the ancient piece of rock that I use for work!)
- Grass
- 2 Way Road systems
- English keyboards (over here the @ symbol is above the 2 not the ; symbol grrrr...)
- A greasy Fry-Up
- A response other than "what?" when I say "well lad, whats the craic?"
- The ability to calculate the tax without adding it on at the end of the transaction
- FRIGGIN TIPPING!!!!! - absolute load of balls... ok if I am in a resturant and I have a nice meal and the girl working was nice thats all cool and i dont mind givin a few quid for the service... but the automatic tippin over here is a joke!!... food courts, deliveries, TAXI DRIVERS!, homeless people who open doors, anybody... what a load of rubbish!!





...There are loads more but I cant think of them right now and im back from my lunch break so I will update the list as time goes on....But the one thing I miss the most is...

- The comfort of sitting in a quiet pub with my mates enjoying a nice cool (legal) pint of beer and talking absolute rubbish while wathching a match, perhaps a few games of pool with some rock and roll playing in the background, then a quick chinese/burger before gettin ready for a night out on the pishh
