Ok ok ok kiddy winks....
So much has happened since I last posted here, lets see....
*lovefest parade,
*Fleet Week
*Working extra days so I can chill next year when people come over
*Biked the Bridge
*Went to my first night club in 4months...
So yea going to have a big post here....
So lets start (as many stories like to start) at the beginning. Since my last post I have been working very hard, 6days a week building days up so when you lot come to visit I can spend time with you, however I have been making the best of my days off. Katrin (german girl i work with) recently moved into a new flat with a few other friends from the Vantaggio. So we have been over a few times for parties and what not... the flat is amazing, so clean, big and get this... they have 3 swimming pools, a gym, saunas, weight room, yoga and more in thier complex... it is so cool that it has gotten me thinking, do I really wanna stay in the Vantaggio for an entire year?... rooming with a guy who is so interesting he makes watching paint dry entertaining?.... crampt into one room?... luggin all my stuff up and down 3 floors to cook?... I dunno... (stay tuned)
So thats work.
Onto the fun stuff.... The weekend after my last post was lovefest. Basically its a massive parade where everyone dresses up like rainbows and gives out free love, so very San Francisco. The thing is over here, no-one give a damn what others think... So there I am walking down Market Street with friends from Vantaggio, just in a nice white shirt, pair of jeans and taking it easy, all of a sudden it was as if someone opened a packet of skittles in my face and all that rainbow stuff hit me in the face. Honestly I have never seen so many colours at once. The parade itself was cool, all these floats were made and had half naked girls dancing to house music, techno, trance, rave, everything that you can dance to. As you can image I took alot of photographs, but I can only upload like 5 at a time on this stupid blogg so I think what I will do is a photo dump in the next week or so, so yet again stay tuned...
The weekend after Lovefest was Fleet Week, which basically is like all these old ships and and new battleships come to San Francisco for a wee rest or something, dunno wasnt very interesting... anywhoo... my friend at work Michi told me all about the blue angels (american version of the red arrows) and said how they fly so close to each other its amazing and do all these stunts etc, and as we had the weekend off we decided to go...
(sorry this just brought me onto another story.......
......ok it was Juile (our manager's) birthday in work so we got the cake etc and Colly had to bring a table in to set it all on... now this table has rounded edges and is smooth... but somehow he managed to cut himself... bad... i mean this thing wouldnt stop bleeding... how he managed to do it I will never know... but the sucker was still bleeding the day after so he thought it best to go to the hospital and get it checked out... lol anyway I found the situation very funny
.....and now back to the blue angels)
So its the weekend and we decide to get a head start on everyone and get to fort mason as you can see the entire area from there. Get there around 1 as the show starts at 3... so its a lovely warm day... so i pop out in a t-shirt... bad idea... fort mason is completely in the shade, and there was a wind coming off the ocean... i was bloody foundered!!!... and the worst of it was at 2.50 the fog started to come in.... 3.00 on the dot the blue angels fly over and the away................and thats it...... WHAT!!! apparently they said it was too cloudy to fly... friggin useless the lot of them... there is me standin in a effin t-shirt for 2 hours to see them go... whoooshhh... thats your lot for today... god we figured the credit crunch hit them too... only enough fuel for one pass... anyway it was crap and poor michi felt awful but it werent here fault so we were then met by colly and went off towards katrins new flat for a party...
So that was Fleet Week... the Saturday anyway we then went to Katrins place were I met....
.... TRUMPETS!!!!!!......Micheline.......... WOOOO lol.. (told her I would mention her)... she feeds me the sweetheart lol
So if I havent mentioned Rebecca before... she is this girl from Switzerland and she is a sweetheart lol... almost like a big sister... anywhoo... Micheline is from the land of chocolate too and is staying at the Vantaggio too so you can see how everything overlaps nicely.... anyway... they are both... just great!!

Ok so the Sunday after fleet week (oh by the way micheline ran away from switzerland cuz she has 2 kids Jacque and Philieppe Christophh... wrong spelling I know but im tired and cudnt be bothered.... lol)... so the Sunday after fleet week me and Rebecca went shopping... got clothes in TJmax (yea I know... TKmax its ment to be... go figure)... had pancakes and had fun...
... just doing a day by day play now.... that was 2 weekends ago lol

lets talk proper....
As you know, Natalia is one of the few people left from the original group I met in my first few weeks here, and she is going home tomorrow (Sunday) which is going to suck as the only people left will be me and Colly... So we decided to bike the bridge... we went and hired bikes yesterday and it was a beautiful day we cycled all the way from Fishermans Wharf over the Golden Gate Bridge and down to Sausalito (this beautiful small quiet place... honestly it was so beautiful) then got the ferry back to San Francisco... It was the perfect day and a brilliant way to spend some time together before she goes... I am really going to miss her :(
Well anyway we went out last night too for Natalia.... went to this club which was over 18s so I could defo get in... (stupid law... 2 months to go)... so there we are having a good time... dancing and not drinking... then this arse comes over and smashed glasses with colly's glass (as he is legal) and breaks the bloody glass... so I take it out of his hands... at which point a bouncer appears and puts me out... friggin typical... they wouldnt listen but sure... the first time i go to a club in 4 months and i get thrown out because I am holding a broken glass... bur sure it happens
So that brings you all up to speed with all my dealings the past few weeks... as I said I will do a photo dump and just land a load of photos on in the next few days of lovefest etc... but for now you can have a look at what biking the bridge is like as I can be bothered uploading 8 photos... the rest will go into the photo dump I do in a few days.
So hope all is well back home... missing everyone lots... hope your missing me 2
